Balm & Phase-Changes

SUI WASSER balms are concentrated, water-free blends of natural waxes, plant oils and other skin-conditioning ingredients — No preservatives.

Changes in temperature during shipping or storage can sometimes cause these ingredients to cool or crystallize at different rates. This may result in a firmer or waxier layer on top, softer oils toward the bottom, or a slightly grainy or uneven texture. This does not necessarily mean the balm has gone bad. If separation occurs, simply give the balm a thorough stir to redistribute the ingredients.

Step One: Open Your Balm

Remove the lid from your new balm. Because our balm is made with a concentrated blend of natural waxes and oils, the texture may vary slightly as these ingredients cool and settle.

Step Two: Break Up & Mix

Using a clean fork, gently press into the balm to break up the firm upper layer.

Rotate the tin as you mix, scraping around the edges and working the balm from the outside toward the center. Continue mixing for about one minute, making sure the waxes and oils are thoroughly blended.

Step Three: Ready to Use

Once mixed, your balm should have a softer, more uniform consistency. A few small pieces of firmer wax are completely normal. They will soften and melt as the balm is massaged into warm skin.

If you’d like an even smoother consistency, simply mix the balm again.

To Apply: Massage a small amount into the skin until evenly distributed. If you’ve applied more than you need, gently dab away the excess with a clean cloth or paper towel.
